There is one fish in Maine that really doesn’t get talked about that much (given its accidental inhabitance) in the fly-fishing community. It hasn’t been around all that long and to me, was revered as a unicorn of sorts. The fish of a ten thousand casts, the muskie.
Social Media…. Seemingly the spawn of Satan itself to some, corrupting the minds of the youth, and empowering the elderly in ways they should never possess. Personally, I use social media, not to the extent that my peers do, but I still have a Facebook and Instagram.
To each is own is how I like to live. However, I believe some flies are teetering the line of what is and what isn’t a fly. The very definition for what is fly fishing and what is not is arbitrary and poorly defined at best and the definition of what constitutes a fly follows the same grey path.
