The Golden Retriever was originally created in Virginia about 30 years ago. Since then, it’s effectiveness has swept across the fly fishing nation. When this fly gets wet, the estaz body material becomes semi translucent, making the red under body visible to the fish, which is a great attractor. Tied on a size 8 barbless streamer or jig hook, weighted with a gold brass bead.
