The Sculpin can be found scurrying on the bottom of rivers in most of the watersheds of North America. These Bottom dwelling creatures make for an easy high protein meal for a hungry trout. Sculpin can grow up to ten inches in some parts of the world, although most are around three to four inches. This fly is tied on a size 4 long shanked jig hook, weighted with a sculpin helmet.
Tied by Logan Messina in Solon, Maine.
