The Prince Nymph has been a tried and true pattern for decades. This is just a wacky variant of the classic attractor nymph. It can imitate stone flies or larger mayflies, but in general it’s just a fish catcher. Purple is a great color for nymphing in deep water. Tied on a barbless size 14 jig hook, weighted with a gold tungsten bead.
