Soft hackle wet flies are like the chameleons of the fly fishing world. They can imitate many of the bugs commonly found subsurface in rivers. Traditionally these flies are casted across stream and swung down and across, this can be deadly effective. These wet flies make for a great dry dropper. Don’t hesitate to nymph deep on the bottom with this fly. The soft hackle collar pulses with every little movement of water that comes its way.
