Jig flies really are making a comeback. This variant hare’s mask nymph is a must have in your box. This was an experiment that became a staple in my nymph box. Throw it alone or as a trailer and you’ll find what you’re looking for in no time.
INGREDIENTS
- Hook: Any 90 degree jig hook
- Tail: Red floss
- Body: Hare’s mask
- Ribbing: Blue wire, thin
- Collar: Short and stiff deer hair
- Bead: Appropriate tungsten jig bead silver
