Eel Fly

A Maine_flyfish pattern designed to be fished on cloudy days and at night targeting Giant Striped Bass! These eel imitation flies are tied on 5/0 B10S Gamakatsu Salt Hooks and are 15 inches in length, but Don’t Worry they’re sleek and aerodynamic for long casting. The tail extension is tied on 20 lbs mono line, sparsely tapered with bucktail, and finished with long hackle feathers to give the fly that natural eel movement in the water. Recommended to be used with intermediate or (preferably) full sink fly line and a very slow retrieve. Each fly was carefully tied by Maine_flyfish who ensures they’re castable, durable, and affordable.
